Description:
The intern will play a key role in supporting AI Data Agents that sit on top of curated data models and Lakehouse architectures to enable:
- Natural‑language data exploration
- Conversational insights over semantic models
- Automated summaries and trend explanations
- Guided analytics experiences for business users
Key Responsibilities AI Data Agents (Core Responsibility)
- Assist in building and configuring AI Data Agents over Fabric Lakehouse and semantic models to enable conversational analytics.
- Help curate and prepare high‑quality, well‑modeled datasets that agents rely on for accurate responses.
- Support prompt design, agent behaviors, and guardrails to ensure trustworthy, explainable outputs.
- Test and validate agent responses against known data outcomes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to documentation and reusable patterns for scaling data agents across use cases.
Microsoft Fabric & Data Modeling
- Work with data in Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse environments to support agent‑ready datasets.
- Assist with basic data transformations, validation, and performance optimization.
- Support semantic model alignment to ensure agents and dashboards produce consistent answers.
Power BI (Supporting Capability)
- Build and enhance Power BI dashboards that act as: Source‑of‑truth views for agents, Validation layers for agent outputs, Visual companions to conversational analytics
- Apply best practices in modeling, DAX fundamentals, and visualization clarity.
Workflow Automation (Supporting Capability)
- Build Power Automate workflows that:, Trigger actions based on data insights, Route notifications, approvals, or follow‑ups, Connect analytics outputs to operational workflows
- Support automation scenarios where AI insights drive action, not just reporting.
