Description:

I am building an animated YouTube channel and looking for someone to own the visual production side of it.

What this role is not: You are not writing scripts. The script and the story is handled. Your job starts after all of that is done.

What this role actually is: You receive a set of ready-written script (and sometimes suggested prompts for image generation - or a direction in which the visuals of that episode can be explored) — each episode can be 8 to 12 minutes long with ideal animations 90 - 120 imagers per episode. You take the script and suggested prompts, run them through AI image generation tools (primarily ChatGPT Plus / DALL-E 3), quality-check every output against an established character bible and visual style guide, refine and iterate until everything is consistent, and deliver a final organised image set ready for animation assembly.

That is the job. Execution, consistency, and attention to detail.

You are the right person if: — You have hands-on experience generating images with ChatGPT Plus or similar AI tools — You understand prompt engineering well enough to fix a bad output by rewriting the prompt — You have a strong creative eye and can spot when something is visually off — You can maintain character and style consistency across a large image set — You are self-directed and can work from a detailed brief without constant back and forth — You have an interest in or understanding of 2D animation visual language.
