Description:

An Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst supports the acquisition and asset management functions within a real estate investment firm and development company. The analyst is responsible for conducting market research, analyzing financial data, and assisting with the management of assets after acquisition. The role includes preparing financial reports, assisting in due diligence, and collaborating with other departments to ensure effective asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Identify potential real estate investment opportunities and monitor market trends.

  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, including financial modeling and pro forma analysis, to evaluate investment opportunities.

  • Due Diligence: Assist in conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities, reviewing financial statements, property information, and legal documents.

  • Asset Management: Manage assets after acquisition, monitor property performance, prepare financial reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, investors, and lenders.

  • Investor Relations: Communicate with investors to provide updates on investments and respond to inquiries.

  • Collaboration: Work with property management, leasing, and construction teams to ensure effective asset management.

Key Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or related fields.

  • Strong financial analysis skills and experience with financial modeling software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of real estate market trends and competitive factors.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with due diligence and underwriting of potential investment opportunities is a plus.
