Accounts Executive

 

Description:

BrainX Technologies is hiring a skilled Accounts Executive to support and strengthen our day-to-day financial operations. This role requires hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage core accounting functions while collaborating closely with senior finance leadership.

Job Responsibilities

Accounting Operations & Reporting

 

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes independently.
  • Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices and vendor payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, invoices, and receipts.
  • Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
  • Process bank deposits and ensure timely postings.
  • Manage petty cash, vouchers, and expense documentation.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and reports.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues proactively.

 

Taxation, Compliance & Documentation

 

  • Assist in the preparation of Sales Tax and Income Tax returns.
  • Ensure proper documentation for tax filings and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and support compliance activities.
  • Maintain organized financial records for audits and reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to internal accounting controls and SOPs.

 

Systems, Tools & Process Support

 

  • Maintain and update accounting databases and financial spreadsheets.
  • Work efficiently on Google Sheets / MS Excel for reconciliations and tracking.
  • Use accounting software (preferably QuickBooks Online) for daily entries.
  • Support process improvements and basic automation initiatives.
  • Assist senior team members in improving documentation and workflows.

 

Coordination & Collaboration

 

  • Coordinate with internal departments for billing, reimbursements, and approvals.
  • Support the Assistant Manager / Finance team in daily operational tasks.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on pending invoices and payments.
  • Provide accurate financial data when required by management.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred).
  • Proficient in Google Sheets / MS Excel (formulas, reconciliations, tracking).
  • Familiarity with basic taxation and compliance processes in Pakistan.
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
  • Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
