Accounting Manager

Description:

The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. This position is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger, supervising journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. The Accounting Manager will manage fixed asset registers, monitor depreciation, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The role includes reviewing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data to support decision-making, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits, and help improve internal controls and financial processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements and have a solid understanding of finance principles.
• Candidates should possess robust analytical skills to interpret financial data and support business decisions.
• Candidates should possess experience in recording and reviewing journal entries and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of fixed assets accounting, including asset capitalization, tracking, and depreciation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in industrial or services sectors, preferably in waste management or related fields, is beneficial.
