Accounting Intern

Description:

MayaTax is seeking motivated interns to join our dynamic team for a 1 to 3-month internship. High-performing candidates who demonstrate strong technical capability and professional growth may be offered a permanent position upon completion.

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting international client engagements while gaining practical exposure to global accounting practices and financial reporting processes used by international businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic bookkeeping, compliance assignments, and financial reporting tasks.
Support accounting work under international frameworks across diverse industries (e.g., real estate, hospitality, taxation).
Organize, analyze, and process financial data using Microsoft Excel.
Collaborate with and support senior team members on day-to-day client deliverables.

Eligibility & Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in BBA or BS Accounting & Finance.
Strong basic knowledge of accounting principles and solid, hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data formatting, basic analysis).
Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and effective communication skills.

Required Skills & Attributes
Must be fully comfortable working onsite in a night shift.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for engaging with international stakeholders.
High energy levels and a sharp eye for detail to thrive in a fast‑paced BPO environment.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
