Raaziq Group (RIL Logistics) is one of the leading, trusted, and well-known brands in customs clearance and logistics services, serving renowned importers and exporters across Pakistan. We are currently seeking to fill a key position within our organization – Accounts Manager at RIL Logistics, Lahore. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial management, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and accounting standards. The role requires strong analytical abilities, leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing accounting functions efficiently while supporting strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Accounts Department, including supervision, performance management, and development of the accounts team.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely payments, collections, and effective cash flow management while reporting to the HOD.
- Execute and supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of financial reports.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Develop management reports, financial analysis, and performance insights to support senior management and business decision-making.
- Develop and deliver financial presentations and reports for senior management and board meetings.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax, and coordinate with tax consultants and authorities during audits and assessments.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, intercompany, and foreign associate reconciliations on a periodic basis.
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support business planning and strategy.
- Lead finalization of accounts and coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
- Implement and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and transparency.
- Manage payments and receivables related to international associates and customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ERP.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Proven capability to manage and lead an accounts team
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience:
- 8 – 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
