Accountant

Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper (Controller Track) to manage transactional accounting, monthly financial close, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with US-based bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online, payroll coordination, and financial reporting. This role is perfect for someone who can balance tactical bookkeeping with strategic financial insight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for US-based operations
• Handle QuickBooks Online (Advanced tier) for reporting, transaction entry, and journal entries
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, general ledger maintenance
• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Coordinate payroll across multiple US states
• Prepare monthly financial close (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Deliver monthly financial packages to leadership by the 10th business day
• Support tax compliance and work with external CPAs
• Track cash flow and banking operations

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience for US-based small businesses
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Advanced tier)
• Experience with US payroll, tax filings, and compliance
• Prior experience in the US market is mandatory
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
