Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial health of Al Aziz Builders & Developers through accurate bookkeeping, budget management, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records (ledgers, journals, etc.)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable laws
- Assist with budget planning and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Handle payroll calculations and employee expense reimbursements
- Maintain records of project-wise expenses for real estate developments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CA Inter preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (experience in the real estate/construction industry is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree, or Tally)
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
