Massive Lights, a pioneer in Pakistan’s lighting industry with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Karachi office. Known for delivering innovative and high-quality lighting solutions sourced from internationally recognized brands in Italy, Spain, and China, Massive Lights services a prestigious client base including Engro Group, Habib University, and Sind Club.

This full-time role involves overseeing daily financial transactions, managing payables and receivables, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will also support budgeting and forecasting activities and help maintain well-organized and up-to-date financial records.

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential, while prior experience in the lighting or construction sectors is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and local regulations

• Conduct financial forecasting and assist in budgeting processes

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Use accounting software and Excel for data management and reporting

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet company financial goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Relevant certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus

• Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and accounting software

• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

• Experience in the lighting or construction industry is advantageous
