Accountant

Description:

We Al-Mayar Traders is a trading company doing supply business for equipment/items both in the public and private sectors in Pakistan. We expanding and looking for a competent Accountant for the Peshawar and D.I Khan offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Summarize and prepare financial records and statements.
• Must have proficiency in either QuickBooks, Oddo or similar accounting software.
• May travel to different cities to attend office meetings.
• Prepare tax-related documents (Sales Tax Returns)
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (especially in Excel)

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting minimum 1+ year experience. ACCA and CA can also apply, Fresh candidates are also encouraged to apply.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Good command on English (Writing+Speaking).
