Description:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting activities to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain ledgers and financial statements in line with company procedures.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns (sales tax, withholding tax, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (ACCA/CA Inter will be a plus)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
