Account Officer

Description:

Responsibilities

➔ Handling data entry operations in different accounting platforms like Quickbooks, Sage, etc.

➔ Reconciliation and finalization of periodic financial statements

➔ Manage year-end operations and adjust entries for the closure of accounts

➔ Handle multiple assignments at a time

➔ Utilize knowledge banks and training material to get accustomed to Canadian laws, regulations, and practice will be a plus

➔ Positive contributions toward the local team through a collaborative approach

Qualifications

➔ Education: B-Com, Master/BS Honors degree in Finance, Accounting / MBA / ACCA / ICMA / PIPFA

➔ 2+ years of previous experience as an Accounts officer in a reputable firm with hands-on experience in dealing with international clients

➔ Grip on accounting, financial management, and taxation (especially Income tax & Sales Tax) concepts

➔ Good command of MS Excel & MS Word

➔ Working knowledge/certification of Quick books Online, Quick books desktop, Sage Online, and/or Sage 50 will be a plus

➔ Good Communication skills and a Team Player
