Description:
The Academic Counsellor will guide students through university admissions, study abroad options, visa processes, and academic planning. This is a full-time, on-site role in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students on international study programs and university admissions
- Guide students and parents on application requirements, documentation, and timeline
- Provide accurate information on visa application processes
- Assess student profiles and recommend suitable academic and career pathways
- Maintain detailed client records and case documentation
- Coordinate with international institutions and internal teams
- Support students throughout the application and decision-making process
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong academic counseling and advisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of study abroad destinations and university admissions
- Understanding of visa processes for major international destinations
- Strong organizational and record-management skills
- Proactive, empathetic, and student-focused mindset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Prior experience in academic counseling or education consultancy is an advantage
